Laura, the brains, looks and Our toffee was first made by Laura. She founded The Toffee House® after friends and family told her that her English Toffee was too good not to offer it to the rest of the United States. She tried some variations, then stuck with the one that most people asked for - The Dangerous Stuff®. A few years later, after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, we agreed to offer a slight variation on the original. Found on the website and in select specialty stores; we call it Emma's English Toffee™. It is the same delicious toffee that we use for The Dangerous Stuff®, that's where the similarities end. We cover Emma's with creamy milk, dark or white chocolate all around, then press diced almonds on the top. Mmm. As a special bonus, a picture drawn by one of The Toffee House® children will be included on the cards that are placed in every tin. Don helps out by making the toffee, sales, marketing, technology, and web site design. He takes John Paul with him to the craft shows and spends his time on the trips talking with John Paul, selling toffee and wondering how Laura's doing with the 8 other kids, the store and production facility. If it weren't for her sisters Nancy, Diane, Sue, Sue's husband Bill, Bill and Sue's daughter Lauren, and Laura's brother Jim, things would be a lot more hectic. Now the older Ross kids are also working at the shop - Maria beautifies the toffee with her drizzling while Angie breaks and packs the toffee into the tins. They all do a tremendous amount of work around the store and warehouse. We're grateful for their help. Thank You to Everyone Who Watched Us on The Food Network
