Shipping Rates

Currently the shipping rate is a $10.95 flat rate for cool states (temperature cool, not hip-to-live-there cool). The normative form of shipment will be UPS Ground when your state is cool enough for shipping in this manner. The warmer states will be charged a flat rate of $22.95. These flat rates are for one shipment to one address each day.

We try to ship your toffee within 2 or 3 business days after you place your order. During the warm season, we won't ship anything that will sit over the weekend. We normally use UPS and can furnish a tracking number upon request. Northeast orders will arrive 2 business days after we ship it - which will be Monday through Wednesday in the warm months. Midwest is about 3 or 4 business days after we ship (Monday and Tuesday is when we'll ship it - orders placed Tuesday through Sunday will ship the following Monday), and West Coast orders are up to 5 business days (These are the only ones that will fall over a weekend). If you want it sooner, we can ship it 2nd Day or Overnight, but it will add significant costs.

Here is a map showing the number of days it will take for your package to arrive after we ship it using UPS Ground delivery. The day we ship will not be the same day you ordered it. It will be the next Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday following the placement of the order.

At this time, we cannot offer International shipping. Because there is so much more time and money put into shipping across borders, and since we are responsible for anything that goes awry (and it's rarely our fault - I say in all humility), we have lost more money than we've made on International orders. We try to be as kind and forgiving as possible, but at the end of the day, we're in business to feed our family, so we need to make a profit (Note: Profits are the engine that drive our economy. The money you spend on your latte come from your personal profits. Try not to fall into the trap of labeling "business" with childish, Marxist slogans. We business owners are just like you except that we risk more to create jobs so others can feed their family as well. Next time you hear a politician bad-mouth industry, take a look at the huge businesses she is NOT blasting (General Electric, Solyndra, NBC are just a few examples). I'll bet they contribute to her campaign. It's not about "fair" and it's not about "justice".).

Please keep in mind that this is a perishable item. It doesn't spoil, but the flavor will certainly diminish over time if it is not handled properly. Please wrap tightly in a couple zipper top bags and refrigerate or freeze the product to maintain freshness. Freezing will not harm the toffee, but it may cause the chocolate to "bloom". This will not affect the flavor, only the appearance. Make sure you wrap it tightly to keep any odors from reaching your precious cargo.

We do as much as economically possible to keep the toffee cool, however, we will not refund your money if it melts after sitting on the porch all day. Swim at your own risk! Call us if you think it'd be okie dokie to send to you.
